Winter is finally here. We had our first snow storm of 2021 and it has been a wonderful lazy Sunday. In need of a large dose of inspirations, I browsed through the Criterion Channel tonight after watching THE CROWN and YOUR HONOR. The results are these beautifully framed shots of AN AUTUMN AFTERNOON (1962), directed by Yasujiro Ozu (Japan). I’ll post more once I have a chance to finish the film.
Heard yesterday via Film Freeway that ALTERED has gotten three more nominations! This time, they’re from IndieX Film Festival where it’s an official selection for the July showcase. The nominations are for the categories of Best Microfilm, Best Sound Design, and Best Director (Female).
So happy for all of us here at the ALTERED team! A few bright lights in the dimness of 2020. Thank you IndieX.
The official laurels for our two wins from The Scene Festival arrived in the email box today. So proud of our ALTERED crew. And so grateful as well. It takes a fabulous team to make a movie – no matter how short. Thank you Kat, Kayla & Ashley! You are the cream & sugar in my cup of coffee. And you know how much I love both!
